Biography
Peter Hughes was born in November 12th 1903, the second of 8 children of Michael Hughes & Annie Green.
He is listed in the 1911 census at age 8, living with his parents and is attending school.
He married Eileen Hughes from Edenderry, Co. Offaly on November 13th 1928 and lived his adult life in and around the town of Edenderry in Co Offaly and they had 6 children (Noel, Nancy, Mary, Eileen, Kathleen & Josephine).
